The law of Dharma
The seventh spiritual law of success is the law of Dharma. Dharma means “purpose in life”. The law of Dharma says that we have taken a physical body to fulfil a purpose.
When we apply Dharma to an individual, one can do better than anyone else in this universe or world. For every unique talent and unique expression of that talent, there are also unique needs.
When these needs are matched with the creative expression of your talent, that is the spark that creates wealth. ( do not consider wealth means money alone, wealth means – prosperity, fortune, resources, etc.)
We all have unique talents that no one else has, and everyone has special ways of expressing that talent. For instance, we ended up going to the best schools, getting the best grades, and even in college, we are unique in that we are financially self-sufficient, because we focused on what we are here to give. This is then the Law of Dharma.
Three component to the Law of Dharma
First: Each of us here to discover our true Self, to find out on our own that our true Self is spiritual.
We are not human beings that have occasional spiritual experiences. It is the other way around: we are spiritual beings that have occasional human experiences.
Each of us is here to discover our higher self or our spiritual self. That the first fulfilment of the Law of Dharma
Second: To express our unique talent. That means that there is one thing you can do, and one way of doing it, that is better than anyone else on this entire planet.
How to identify that unique talent within us – When you are doing that one thing, you lose track of time. When you are expressing that one unique talent or more than one unique talent in many cases – the expression of that talent takes you into timeless awareness.
Third: Service to humanity. Ask yourself the question, “How can help all those I come into contact with?”
When we combine the ability to express our unique talent with service to humanity, then we make full use of the Law of Dharma. And coupled with the experience of our own spirituality, the field of pure potentiality, there is no way we will not access unlimited abundance, because that is the real way abundance is achieved, which is permanent.
This can be discovered through asking a question, “How can I help?” instead of “What is in it for me?”
Ego – The question, “What is in it for me?” is the internal dialogue of the ego
Spirit – Asking “How can I help?” is the internal dialogue of spirit
Shifting our internal dialogue
In just shifting our internal dialogue from “What is in it for me?” to “How can I help?” we automatically go beyond the ego into the domain of our spirit.
While meditation is the most useful way of entering the domain of spirit.
Applying the Law of Dharma
1. Today I will lovingly nurture the god or goddess in an embryo that lies deep within my soul. I will pay attention to the spirit within my soul. I will pay attention to the spirit within me that animates both my body and my mind.
2. I will awaken myself to this deep stillness within my heart. I will carry the consciousness of timeless, eternal Being in the midst of time-bound experience.
3. I will make a list of my unique talents. Then I will list all the things that I love to do while expressing my unique talents. When I express my unique talents and use them in the service of humanity, I lose track of time and create abundance in my life as in the lives of others
4. I will ask myself daily, “How can I serve?” and “How can I help?” The answers to these questions will allow me to help and serve my fellow human beings with love.
About spiritual laws of success
I was reading an article on success, in which someone mentioned about the book called ‘The seven spiritual laws of success’ by Deepak Chopra. Till that time, I was reading a lot on how to become successful in life, how to earn money, how one should be focused towards success.
One must read this book. Even though I read it, I still spend time to ponder over deep thoughts presented by an author in the book and try to understand it.
Based upon my little understanding of what I pursued, I prepared a gist of it for you.
Hope you enjoyed the article. This is the last article for Seven spiritual laws of success. I In next article, for better readability, I will be consolidating all the seven articles into one single article
